Setup and Objective

The setup of this activity was simple. There were two tables with two facilitators and each of the facilitators had a tray with themselves which consisted of 2 sets of worksheets where on one side there were images of various objects of different numbers and on the other side there were images of dice inside which there were dots of different numbers.

The setup

The objective of this activity was for the children to develop number sense and strengthen their counting and fine motor skills.

How it happened

The children came to the table by themselves and waited for the activity to begin. Initially, the worksheet was introduced to the children by the facilitators. The children observed the worksheet and shared what they saw with the facilitators. Then by following the instructions given the facilitators the children counted the images of the various objects and stuck a sticker on the dice which had the same number of dots. After they finished their first worksheet they proceeded to the second worksheet which was done in the same procedure. All the children seemed really engaged in the activity. They stuck their worksheets on the wall and also helped in the cleanup after the activity got over.
