ARTHART
An art exhibit - For the children, by the children
It took me 4 years to paint like Raphael but a lifetime to paint like a child.
- Pablo Picasso
Art has always been an integral part of society since time immemorial. It has not always been about an expression of perceived aesthetics, but it has also been utilised by the people in history to represent their living conditions and the happenings around the world. Art has existed around the world in different styles, each telling a tale about the places that are native to that style. It is the technique of each style, which is expressive of their stories.
A child’s perception of the world is pure. It is not maligned or tampered with by the teachings of society. They see the world in their own way, a way that none of us can achieve. They can paint the world any way they want to. The leaves don’t have to be green, and the sky doesn’t have to be blue for them. Every child’s vision is unique; their mind’s full of questions and answers bound by their own imagination. That is where we come in, with a platform that allows our kids to express themselves the way their imagination allows them to! Our kids have the capability of teaching us so much. With unhindered creativity and imagination, they hold power to become great artists. They are way ahead of us in terms of creativity, expression, and many other ways, and it is time to let them shine.
Painting is an art that is to be felt, just like poetry. It allows us to experience the perception of an artist. It allows us to experience how they feel, share their vision, interpret their messages and much more. The art of painting is boundless, just like the colours in this world, something that this form of art allows us to explore!
But how do you perceive painting? Is it that which has a perfect blue sky? Or is it one with the softest looking grass in the world, or the one with a sunset and geese in it? When given the opportunity, children can use art much more, with fewer borders and differently tinted skies. These paintings are less structured, but they are amazing and expressive, owing to their imaginative process. Every painting is beautiful, regardless of whether an 18-month-old child paints it or a 60-year-old.
Your child’s painting is capable of making a difference in their own life, as well as in the lives of the ones struggling from the crisis caused by the COVID-19 pandemic or the ones lacking proper resources for education. Arth invites you to come forward and make a difference with paints and brushes, coloured hands and a canvas painted with imagination. It’s time for the children to peeked into their mind and slapped it onto paper.
Arth is presenting project Arthart – a virtual art exhibition. This exhibition is for children 18 months to 7 years old and is a fundraiser event featured by children across the world.
It’s an initiative taken by Arth, which aims to encourage the budding artist in Children around the world Parents can help to send us the paintings through Post / Scan which will then can be presented in the exhibition, and the funds raised by it will be donated to the charities battling for survival.
