April 23 is World Book Day and we want to celebrate it the Arthen Way! To do that we are collaborating with Open Skies to organise a book exploration exhibit at arth on April 23. We are also organising a workshop on “How to raise readers!”
How to raise a reader! - A WORKSHOP
Have you heard about torch books or puzzle books? You must have heard about lift-the-flap books, but do you know about slide-and-seek books? What about cloth books or, better yet, sound books? Sounds fascinating, right!
The greatest people on this planet have had the biggest libraries because they recognised that there is treasure hidden in books.
Our mentor says that if you could do only one thing with your child every day, then that should be reading them to bed. But which books do you read to them? Which one do you buy? Which books do you buy for a one-year-old child? What if your child is three years old? What if your child shows no interest in books? What if your child already loves books and you have a big collection, but more? There are so many questions, and it is all so confusing.
Well, this event is exactly to help you solve that. In this workshop you will learn the following:
The goals of reading books to children
The 6 stages of reading that children go through
How to select books for each stage
How to identify which stage your child is at and what books to get them
Examples of how to read those books to children
Bonus: Exclusive opportunity to explore different kinds of books facilitated by educators

Book exploration Exhibition
Along with the workshop, we also have an exhibition of the finest children’s literature from the best publishers across the world.
There will be Board books, cloth books, lift-the-flap books, peekaboo books, torch books, sticker books, sound books, light books, and so so much more.
Arth, in collaboration with Open Skies, is bringing to you a Book Exploration Exhibit to show you some of the most fascinating children's books and help you make the decision of buying them.
If you have children between 0 and 5 years of age, if you are expecting a child, or want to buy a gift for a toddler, this exhibition is for you! And if you love books, this exhibit is especially for you.
April 23 is World Book Day, and we thought there is no better day to host this exhibit.
