Setup and Objective
The setup of this activity was quite simple. There were two tables with two facilitators. Each facilitator had a tray with themselves which consisted of worksheets that had pictures of different objects. The cutouts of different alphabets were kept in a bowl and placed in the middle of the table.
The objective of this activity was for the children to develop their literacy, cognitive and fine motor skills.
How it happened
The children came to the table by themselves and waited for the activity to begin. Initially, the children took the worksheets and gluesticks. They said what they observed in their worksheets. After that, by practicing the sounds of each letter, they said which alphabet the objects begin with. One by one, they tried to find the letters from the cutouts kept in a bowl and stuck it on the worksheets to finish their puzzle. All the children seemed quite engaged and everyone was able to finish the activity. After the activity got over, all the children helped in cleanup.
