Setup and Objective

The setup of this activity was quite simple. There were two tables with two facilitators and each of them had a tray with themselves that consisted of worksheets which had images of different fruits hanging from a tree showing upper case alphabets of those particular fruits. There were also lower case alphabet stickers in the tray.

The objective of this activity was for the children to recognise the upper case alphabets in the worksheet and match it with the lower case alphabets. This activity also helped the children to strengthen their fine motor skills.

How it happened

The children came to the table by themselves and waited for the activity to begin. Initially the children were first introduced to the worksheet. They observed it and said what they saw. Then each child was given a sticker pack of lower case alphabets. By following the instructions of the facilitators the children were able to match the upper case and the lower case alphabets. All the children seemed really engaged and finished the activity wonderfully.

After the activity got over, they helped in the cleanup.
