Colour Tapping
Date: February 14 2022; Monday
Facilitators: Ankur, Anupriya, Sonai, Sohini
Participants: Isa, Daksh, Samaira, Sherry, Joshua
Materials used: Chart papers (of different colours cut in different shapes)
Setup and Objective
There are 4 different coloured shapes stuck on a strip of paper. The facilitator calls out a sequence of 3-6 colours/shapes, for example, green, blue, red or square, red, yellow. The objective of the game is to tap on the different colours/shapes as called out by a facilitator. The facilitator calls out the sequence at a go and the participants have to keep that in mind and tap on the sheet accordingly. Once they are done tapping, the participants are supposed to quickly grab the felt ball from the centre. Whoever grabs the felt ball first, wins.
How it happened
Almost all participants participated and sat in a circle along with the facilitator (Ankur). As all the participants played very fast, we had to increase the number of felt balls in the centre so as to avoid any disruption while playing. All of them played by the rules and tapped on them correctly even when the facilitator upgraded the level of the game with more colours and shapes.
