Setup and Objective: The setup of the activity was the Bidhan Shishu Udayan Park which is right opposite the school. It also included hula hoops, football and 3 flags.
The objective of this activity was for the children to explore an outdoor space, strengthen their friendship and bonds which would help them in team building. It would develop a sense of familiarity and togetherness along with exploring some physical exercise.
How it happened: The children were very excited to go to the park. The educators divided the set of children along with the helpers. The children wore their hats, sunglasses and shoes and were ready to go to the park. They were standing in line with their assigned educators and waiting for their turn to go out, wear their shoes and cross the road. Initially they explored the elephant statue following the giraffe statue. After which, some children played with hula hoops while others tried the swing. Following this, everybody came together and played lock and key. The children then took some rest and then went onto the giraffe slide. They enjoyed their outdoor time in park and there were a lot of conversations happening among the children. Once they came back to the school, the children washed their hand, drank water and ate some snacks and proceeded to the choice time.
