SETUP AND OBJECTIVE

The setup of this activity was quite simple. There was a brown canvas with shapes of different sizes drawn which was stuck on the ground. There were also small cutouts of different shapes and fevisticks.
The objective of this activity was for the children to stick the shape cutouts correctly on the canvas and also to count the number of shape cutouts they stuck on the canvas.

HOW IT HAPPENED

There were two brown canvases stuck on the ground. Initially, all the children shared what shapes they saw on the canvas. After that, each child was given a fevistick and the shape cutouts were kept in the middle. They took the shape cutouts and stuck it on the canvas which was followed by them counting the number of cutouts they stuck. All the children seemed quite engaged in the activity. When the activity got over, the children helped in the cleanup.
