Setup and Objective

The setup of this activity was simple. There were two tables with two facilitators and each facilitator had a tray with themselves which consisted of worksheets where there were different numbers made on the dice on one side and on the other side of the worksheet there were circles. There were also connector sketch pens of various colours.

The objective of this activity was for the children to develop their number sense and strengthen their counting and fine motor skills.

How it happened

The children came to the table by themselves and waited for the activity to begin. Initially, they took the worksheet and observed it. They counted the number on the dice and circles. After that, they took the connector sketch pens of their choice. By following the instructions given by the facilitator, the children started colouring the circles according to the number made on the dice. All the children seemed really engaged and engrossed in the activity. After the activity got over, they helped in the cleanup.
