Setup and Objective

The setup of this activity was a little complex. There were three different tabled with three different facilitators. Each table had one bowl of muri, chopped vegetable, bhujia, chaat masala and lemon. Each child was given a bowl and a spoon to make their masala muri.

The objective of this activity was to see whether the children are able to sit at one spot and follow instructions. This activity also helped them to exercise and strengthen their motor skills.

How it happened

All the children participated in this activity. They sat at their tables and waited for the activity to begin. First, each child took a bowl and a spoon to make the masala muri. Then they took muri and put it inside their bowls. After that, it was time to add the other ingredients. Each child took turns to add chopped cucumbers, tomatoes  onions and boiled potatoes. Then they mixed it with the help of a spoon which they had taken before. After that, they added bhujia and squeezed lemon into it. Finally, they add bhujia one by one and mixed it again nicely. And lo! The masala muri was ready in no time. All of them looked like they were enjoying eating as well as sharing some of theirs.
